A Very Handy Tool
Though we
don't have an article from George Bullard
this week, I do have a tool to pass along
that he recommended. Back at our Church
Champions Forum in November he suggested we
try a dictation service from
www.idictate.com. I have tried it, love it
and use it every week in my work. It has
saved me some significant time and energy.
After you sign up on-line you get a
toll-free number to call when you want to
dictate any type of document. You merely
speak into the phone and dictate from your
head or your notes. About an hour later, a
document comes to you by email. I use it for
all types of to-do lists, letters, notes
from meetings and other documents.
I was originally worried about accuracy, but
if I am clear in my speech, and spell funny
sounding names, the person on the other end
(whoever they are) spells them out
correctly.
The cost is a penny a word and worth it.
