iDictate Unveils Dictation Service for iPhone Users
By Divya Narain

iDictate, an emerging player in the voice-to-text services market this week announced a telephone dictation service for the buyers of Apple's ( News - Alert) iPhone.

By integrating Internet technology and human interaction, iDictate hopes to transform the way businesses and legal/medical professionals transcribed documents.

The iDictate service turns the Apple iPhone (News - Alert) into an awesome go-anywhere dictation device with the finished documents promptly e-mailed back to the user for final editing,î said Lee Dorfman, founder of iDictate, in a statement.

Dorfman emphasized the cost-effectiveness and the convenience offered by the service. Transcription fees start at a little more than a penny per word, with no additional monthly charges. (Customers can get rush service for an added fee.) In addition, the turn-around time of the service is also quite satisfactory. Customers in North America can dial 866-995-3000 to dictate their jobs. The service is available 24x7, 365 days a year.
